Who's a Hero & Who's a Villain? Who's on Steroids?

OK, so it's a bit of a busy day today. Will have to keep it short, but will give you an update in case you were watching men's skating instead of Survivor (or did you watch both, like me? I am in love with Evan Lysacek. I don't think he's on my team, but no matter. Poor Patrick Chan, but he just wasn't as good. But he'll be back next time, not to worry.)

So that whole thing with Boston Rob passing out. He's mad 'cause he's the only one working - the shelter is still crap. "I'm dizzy. I need some watah." First, I loved the camera shot as if you were seeing what BR sees... the ground coming up fast. Hee. Then Jerri's there trying to help. Oh the drama. She goes for help. Then, as poolster Lori pointed out, he's asking for help and the cameraman keeps on filming. Ummmm... dude.... a little help? Turned out not that serious - some "flu", exhaustion, dehydration and a bit of "crybabyitis"... Hee. Weird though, right? Seemed like he was drunk - couldn't drink the water, was all out of it. Thought he was going to start saying, "I love you, Jeff! You're my best friend!" or something. And then Russell starts getting all worried that BR is getting too much attention.... so he goes and kills a chicken. "I'm King Russell of Samoa." Really? Stop it. Don't make me trade you for Jerri.

Are you loving Jerri? She's pretty normal & likable this time out, non? I didn't think I would be, but I'm a fan. And again, where is the Coach we know and love? I'm waiting for some great Coach-isms, but all I'm getting is Rupert, Rupert, Rupert. Am sick of Rupert/Eeyore and his constant talking. Stephenie was right - he IS annoying. Even those of you who like him have got to admit it. And for some reason, he had it in for Stephenie. I think she challenges his popularity - after all, she was almost as popular as him, remember?

The immunity/reward challenge went the same as last time. The Heroes did really well up until the part where they had to solve the puzzle, then they failed miserably. They even had a strategy going in to listen to JT (the challenge was in his season)... but no one did. Then James had a meltdown. He completely called out Stephenie for not listening, when to me... it seemed like pretty much everyone wasn't listening. Then James went on a rampage going on to everyone who'd listen about how Steph was the only person left on her tribe (ummmm 12 seasons ago) and so must be bad luck. Really? That's why you're voting against someone - because they're BAD LUCK? What? Ease up on the steroids, man.

So Steph, Tom & Colby did their best to wrangle Cirie and Candace to join them in voting for Amanda. Cirie later said to Candace, "I don't care who goes, as long as it's not us." And you can imagine that Cirie - no matter how much she hates Amanda - is a smart cookie and knows Steph is the bigger threat in the long run. And that is why Steph got voted off. Not 'cause of James (well maybe a little) but more 'cause of Cirie. Poor Steph. Oh well. James wouldn't shut up about it though and was really quite a jerk at tribal council. Am starting to think James sucks. (And next week, it looks like he loses it even more, maybe hurting someone?) We like him more when he's the gentle giant, non? I did LOVE Tom and Colby for sticking up for Steph. Now that was a Hero move. THAT is why they're on the Hero team.

A couple other quick notes:
  • When the villains are trying to make shelter, Courtney offers some suggestions. Randy: "She's a waitress in New York & now she's doing construction?" Hee. Later, when they win immunity, Courtney gives Randy this HUGE hug, which clearly makes him super uncomfortable. Ha!
  • Is Courtney psychic? First the comment about breaking Steph's shoulder (then it dislocates), then a comment about Boston Rob dropping dead (and then he passes out). Seriously. What up?
  • Oh, and I loved it when Parvati got bonked in the head with the giant cube in the challenge. Does that make me a bad person or was it karma?
  • Speaking of injury, during the challenge when they're pushing those cubes down the course, Tyson yells out to roll the thing over Rupert's broken toe. Ha! So funny.
  • And finally, Danielle really needs a sports bra. Come on! All that running with those things can't be good for you.
